    • COP Construction LLC ("COP"), established in 1947, is a general contractor working predominantly in Montana, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
    • COP specializes in the following types of work: bridges, dams, concrete structures, water, sanitary sewer and storm drain utilities, water and sanitary sewer treatment plants, containment ponds, subdivisions, general site work, and recreational facilities.

    About the Position:


    The transport driver position supports the safe and efficient heavy haul transportation of construction materials and heavy equipment to and from job sites and the home office yard. The use of a company owned tractor and lowboy trailer will be required use for transport. The transport of deliveries and pickup will be required throughout the region and in some cases multiple states. This position requires a valid Class A CDL.


    • Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of construction materials and heavy equipment.
    • Plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
    • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop supervisor; clean equipment.
    • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
    • Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
    • Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.


    • Valid Class A CDL with proven driving experience and acceptable motor vehicle driving record is required.
    • Must be able to operate heavy equipment for loading and off-loading purposes.
    • Knowledge and experience with securing heavy equipment and materials for safe and legal transport.
    • Must have good time management skills and be able to work independently.
    • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and adhere to DOT Federal regulations at all times.

    Successful candidate must meet all conditions of COP's Drug and Alcohol testing requirements as a condition of employment.  Drug/alcohol screening is administered post-offer and pre-employment.
